I have only just joined this site, but I really think we can all make a big difference with the small actions we do! My neighbours and friends were preparing for dinner when i called them and said, "Lets have dinner together today", so we were al happy!! :) 11 January 2010, 18:20The family that eats together, stays together
My family has always had dinner together every night, and I know it's been big reason why we have such a great relationship. I definitely want to do the same thing with my own family one day. 27 December 2009, 19:48Well, sometimes...
I'm a teenager, and we RARELY do this in my household. It's just my parents, my sister, and myself. I wish we could have a clear kitchen table (clear of bills, homework, etc.) and turn off the TV and all sit down and have a nice dinner! If I want to have my boyfriend over for dinner, it's such a big ordeal to get everyone to eat the same thing at the same time... His family always has sit-down dinner, so I really enjoy going over to his house. It makes me happy, but it also makes me feel like I'm drifting away from my own family. More meals with the family would be nice, but I seem to be the only one who longs for that! 13 December 2009, 09:34Meals all together
I live in a house with two other girls and we have such busy lives and different schedules but we have set aside monday evenings to take turn cooking for the three of us and eating all together. This allows us to catch up as a house and share our favourite foods with eachother. It's alot of fun! 03 November 2009, 09:40dinner
